Solution

Creating the Foundation

While migrating Industrial Products from Magento 1 to the latest version of Adobe Commerce Cloud, we prioritized and accurately migrated its massive consumer data and product portfolio while keeping the significant brand presence in mind. We formulated a comprehensive strategy to seamlessly accommodate the business requirements of multi-region and multi-currency attributes, quick checkout flows, key integrations, and much more.

The Strategy

The team started with the creation of a catalog and management of multiple product prices for multiple customer groups along with dedicated payment and shipping accessibility methods. Interactive product pages were created to display detailed information about product shipment and delivery fulfillment duration. Thereafter multiple sources were set up for various warehouses from where the products are shipped. Various functionalities like the shipping rate calculator, helpdesk/ticket management system, brand management module, custom and checkout and shipping module, region-wise dynamic tax calculation, BI reporting, and more were implemented.

Adobe Sensei Integration to render AI-driven personalized CX was a major attraction of the migration. Some of the major integrations that took the center stage were advanced SEO practices and modules, customized shipment tracking processes, bulk order update features, and more. Last but not least, was strategic planning to organize the work of more than fifty-five third-party integrations, customizations, and UI development.
