Krish TechnoLabs Celebrates International Women’s Day – 8th March 2013
8th March every year is celebrated as International Women’s day. This day is celebrated as a day of respect for women and a token of gratitude for their personal, social, and professional contribution. The United Nations has been observing this year on 8 March since 1975.
Krish TechnoLabs Pvt. Ltd, which has 20 female employees as part of its staff, also observed International Women’s Day on 8th March 2013 to acknowledge the importance of the role that women play in this organization. The day was celebrated to make every female employee in the company realize their contribution made to help the organization to grow and achieve success in the professional as well as the social dimension. This event was also organized to salute the resilience of all women for managing their personal as well as their professional staff commendably.
To bring a feeling of joy and delight to the occasion, the female staff of the organization got together at The Chocolate Room, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, where Mrs. Nilam Padmashali, Director, and our respected MD’s wife, was also a part of the celebration. Pink was the color of the occasion as all those present wore a pink dress symbolizing womanpower!
The Cholcolate Room was tastefully decorated for the occasion, where Mrs. Padmashali cut a cake to mark the day and as a token of appreciation. Later, the occasion was marked by playing of games and a lot of enjoyment. This day left every female employee feeling proud of her contribution to her profession and being a self-sustaining and independent woman in contemporary society too.
