For the first time, Krish TechnoLabs organized a Magento ecosystem techfest! MageMania – an event to expand the horizons of designers, developers, and Magento techies, and profoundly boost their caliber!

Read on to learn more about this event and how this competition helped the Krish peeps to balance their on-stage jitters and speak confidently, expressing their Magento experience and proficiency.
There were ten teams of five Magento technocrats each, and the topics of presentation were assigned to the respective teams beforehand. The teams started to research and prepare insightful presentations for the assigned topics one week before the event.
All the team members made a point to show up their Magento and Magento 2 expertise by participating in one or the other category with hottest eCommerce and Magento 2 topics. After each presentation, there was a question & answer round for five minutes wherein audience and judges asked questions to the speakers.

Team 2: MTF – Magento Testing Framework and automation testing
Team 3: Service Contracts and APIs
Team 4: JS world in Magento 2
Team 5: Design Patterns used in Magento 2
Team 6: Magento 2 caching and Indexer
Team 7: Defining integration with Magento 2
Team 8: Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration
Team 9: Magento 2 frontend architecture
Team 10: Boosting Magento 2
Since the event was focused on Magento 2 ecosystem, it was the best opportunity for those Magento programmers who already have an experience in creating modules for the first version of the platform. By watching these Magento presentations, we could not stop ourselves from applauding these Magento geeks.
As Magento specialists and professional solutions partners, Krish TechnoLabs organized MageMania with the aim of sharing, learning and innovating in the eCommerce and Magento community. However, for every competition, there are winners, and there are losers. On the basis of criteria like presentation skills, team contribution, and technical know-how, the judges selected three teams for their best performances.
We thank all the mentors, participants and audience who joined us and made this event a great success.
We endeavor to tailor the future events around, with the technical side of Magento 2 being represented. In this way, ideas developed at Krish TechnoLabs will have a more practical base.
